I went to see the Agnes Martin show yesterday and again today, I felt that some of the work was just so beautiful and some wasn’t. The room of Islands was amazing but on asking the steward how he felt about it he said that it was torture as the white was so bright it became painful on the eyes, interesting, I spent longer in this room and can well understand how this can happen. I am one of the artists that have been commissioned to make work for the project ‘Amazing Spaces’, curated by Bron Bradshaw @Dove Arts. At present Shed is being given the once over so that he is ready for his face lift! Watch this space!
